Nicole Gonzalez Player of the Week Softball

SOFTBALL

Olympian

The senior pitcher was on her game against Southwest. She fanned nine batters and did not allow a hit in a 13-0 victory. Gonzalez helped herself by going 3-for-3 with a single, double and two-run homer. For the week, she gave up one run on three hits while fanning 15 as the Eagles swept the Raiders. It was Gonzalez’s second no-hitter of the season.

ATHLETICS ELIGIBILITY

(CIF, Metro Conference & District Policy apply)


  1. 1.Athletes must have a 2.0 grade point average in BOTH scholarship and citizenship and must be enrolled in a minimum of 5 classes per semester.

  2. 2.Athletes can NOT compete on any outside team in the same sport during the school season.

  3. 3.Athletes must have the needed clearance papers on file in the ASB Office.  Clearance papers can be obtained at the ASB Office.

  4. 4.A student whose 19th birthday is on June 14 or before is ineligible.

  5. 5.Student athletes transferring to another school or to Olympian High School may be subject to a period of ineligibility.  Please check with the Assistant Principal of Student Activities.

Students and players are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner during athletic contests. Booing, offensive cheers and chants, and provocative and/or inciting acts or negative noise are not acceptable.
